WEARING: Versace dress, Giuseppe Zanotti shoes
MY VERDICT: The “Baggage Claim” actress wore one of my favorite Versace dresses when she joined actress Octavia Spencer and Film Independent President Josh Welsh this morning for the special press conference to announce the 2014 nominations for the Film Independent Spirit Awards. The annual ceremony will be held the day before the 86th Academy Awards in March.
Paula’s white micro-mini halter dress comes from the Resort 2014 collection, and features sultry ruched long sheer sleeves that come all the way to meet the harness neckline to create a split design with crossover detail at the bust. I was hoping to see this worn at a bigger red carpet event, but oh well. Paula looked nice, although the dress might have been a little too snug on her.
With her bob pushed back from the face to show off dainty diamond earrings, she put the finishing touches on her look with a crimson lip color and gold studded white point toe Giuseppe Zanotti pumps. I liked the look, but I didn’t love it–unfortunately.
